Broad St. in Elyria. For a $5 donation Burger King served patrons either a Croisant or Biscuit meal with hashbrowns and drink. "The more we collect the more people we can feed," said Vietzen. Betty Hanson, director of training for Burger King said money collected goes a long way with Second Harvest, "Every 15 cents equals one pound of food; $1.00 = 1 meal for a family of four; and $21.00 = 3 meals/day for a family of 4 for one week. This is the power of the Food Bank. 2nd Harvest gets grants through this program," she concluded. photo by Chuck Humel
